Atmosphere and hydrosphere are crucial for our planet to operate the way it does. In this video, Sabrina Cruz will help the students identify these spheres as well as distinguish them. Whether in ocean, lakes, rivers, glaciers, ground, or glaciers, all of the water on planet Earth belongs to the hydrosphere. All the gases on planet Earth belong to the atmosphere. It is hard to tell apart these two spheres. For instance, rain is a part of hydrosphere, while clouds are a component of the atmosphere.

This video satisfies the 5-ESS2-1 requirement of fifth-grade science proficiency.

Students who demonstrate understanding can:  5-ESS2-1. Develop a model using an example to describe ways the geosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere, and/or atmosphere interact.
