Stand in the sun and then in the shade. Do you feel any different? The Sun has an effect on everything on the Earth’s surface, and feels warmer on surfaces it is directly hitting and cooler on ones it is not because the Sun is a source of heat and warms everything it hits. This video is interesting and informative and covers the different ways the Sun can affect different objects on the world around us.
