In this video, students will explore and compare chicken and butterfly life cycles through the development of scientific drawings or models. Mrs. Jeanne Norris will give students a virtual tour of raising baby chicks in her backyard and teach them how to do a scientific drawing.

Which came first: the chicken or the egg? You may have heard that question before, and everyone has an opinion on how chickens came to be. However, there are several real stages of life that all chickens go through in their lifetimes. This video will give students the chance to visualize the steps that occur from a chick’s birth to when it becomes a chicken!
