In this video, Lidia Martinez will describe the various structures in animals along with their functions. A structure is a body part of an organism which helps the organism to meet its needs. Some of the structures in animals include teeth, skull, and eyes. These structures differ from one type of animal to another and contribute to the role it plays in the environment. For instance, animals that hunt, such as alligator and cats, have eyes in the front part of the skull. Whereas, animals which are hunted by these predators, such as cows and deer, have eyes on the side of their skull so that they can locate the predators.
