Not everything stays the same in an habitat all the time. Join Sabrina Cruz to find out what happens when an ecosystems gets out of balance. Food webs are delicate systems that are formed by the interaction and overlapping of several food chains. When one link in the food web is broken, the disturbance ripples throughout the ecosystem. Good news is that ecosystems naturally try to restore this balance. However, if the disturbance is of higher magnitude, the habitat may change forever. Life will keep going, but it would not look the same.
